"Perfect Pitch"

I am honored and very happy to be included in Nortwest Watercolor Society's Waterworks exhibition.

The exhibit will run from October 28th to November 21st at the Tsuga gallery, 1010 Main St. in Bothell, Wa.

Artist's reception will be held on October 30th from 6 to 8 pm.

Plein Air

I was able to do a few sketches on location, we had an amazing dry summer and some of the fall, here in the North West.
I am hoping to paint some of those larger, later... when the rain comes back...

I have not posted in so long... I got busy and life got in the way! I will try my best to post more often...
This is on hot press watercolor and pastels at a baseball game.
I might tweak a few things here and there but it is finished for the most part.

Plein Air Fun

This is a Plein Air from Edmonds where I was painting recently with a wonderful group CoArts, I am not a member of this group, yet they were so welcoming and friendly!

I finally had the "guts" to paint an urban scene, on a less busy part of town in Edmonds.

It is nice to have a group of painters with a weekly schedule, it works like the "buddy system" for me!
Right now you could almost paint everyday of the week around the Seattle area!

Tuesdays with Eafa Wednesdays with Coarts Thursdays/Saturdays with Nwws and Fridays with me :) (please email me and I will keep you posted on the details)

I soon will add a background to this and it is almost done, we are about to do an auction to collect funds and send it to Japan.
This piece will probably be one of them.
